Abstract

Nineteen pairs of lines in the wavelength range of 800–1300 Å were identified as transitions to the two levels of the ground term of Yb iv, 4f13 2F. The 2F5/22F7/2 interval is 10214.0 cm−1 with an rms deviation of 0.4 cm−1.
