Abstract

The carbon-like spectra of Sc xvi, Ti xvii, and V xviii are reported for the first time. We have classified 44 new lines in the region 16–22 Å. Some previously unidentified lines of Cl xii and Ar xiii are also classified. We extrapolated the levels of the ground configuration 2s2 2p2 by several methods and compared the calculations with the experimental results.
