Abstract

Binding energies of electrons in the next inner subshell are given for most ionization stages of the elements boron through zinc (Z=30). The binding energies of (inner) 2s and 3s electrons are calculated along isoelectronic sequences with full regard to experimental values, in the sense that experimental values are preferred in all cases of doubt. Similarities in the periodic table are taken into account.
