Abstract

Specifications of the approximated equations for a pair of parallel wire gratings spaced at maximum transmission are treated. Measurements with microwaves are made, and the separation of gratings as well as the phase shift, at peak transmission, are determined for various angles of incidence and are compared with calculated values.
