Abstract

A description is presented of a recently constructed Ebert-type vacuum infrared spectrograph. The grating employed is a 73.25 grooves per mm 25.4 × 12.7 cm ruled echelle blazed for an angle of 63°26′. The entire instrument operates in a vacuum. Facilities have been provided to use the spectrograph with tritium-substituted compounds, such as NT3, TF, CT4, etc.
