Tissue Oxygenation Changes in Venous Leg Ulcers

Abstract

A non-contact near-infrared optical scanner (NIROS) was used to obtain 2D tissue oxygenation maps of venous leg ulcers across weeks of treatment. The oxygenation differences between wound and background were similar as wounds began healing.
