Dynamic Polarization Direction Monitoring in Optical Fibers Based on Radially Polarized Light

Abstract

A new polarization analyzing scheme is presented by using radially polarized light and digital image processing, and the polarization direction of lightwave transmitted in optical fibers is measured and the error is less than 0.1 degrees.
