Abstract

The plasmonic sensor for infrared sensing we propose is fully integrated and based on a ridge waveguide upon which metallic scattering nano-objects ensure the coupling between the guided modes and superstrate of the device. Full vector 3D modelling is used to optimize the device parameters taking into account the mode used as excitation.
