Sizing particulates with nanofiber sensors

Abstract

A size spectrometer using a nanofiber array is demonstrated. Detection and sizing of single nanoparticles in both aqueous and air environments are realized. The size spectrometer is also used for monitoring ultrafine particulates in Beijing.
