Solid-State Lighting for High-Valued Artwork

Abstract

A freeform design method has been applied to the lighting of high-valued artwork. Aspects of the method including optimization, tolerancing, spectrum, and fabrication will be presented. The challenges on these topics due to severe oblique illumination will be discussed.
