Abstract
Dimethylnitramine (DMNA), (CH3)2N-No2, has been extensively studied as a simple analog expected to exhibit some of the reactions important in cyclic nitramine energetic material decomposition.1-6 Although many of these studies include its gas phase dissociation following excitation with UV radiation, its UV absorption cross sections have not been established. Because of the importance of these pa minders in analyzing the results of DMNA photodissociation, our results are presented herewith.
