Abstract

Four-wave mixing of surface electromagnetic waves and phase conjugation are investigated experimentally and theoretically. In the experiment the single-mode (TEM00) impulse nanosecond ruby laser is used. Full duration of radiation is 30 ns. The surface electromagnetic waves are produced at the silver-ethanol interface by attenuated total reflection.
