Abstract

A novel hyperspectral single pixel system was used to determine the best basis pattern for intensity reconstructions, lifetime and lifetime-based FRET quantification. Hadamard Ranked, Hadamard Sign, Normal Hadamard, Speckle and Fourier patterns were compared in silico and experimentally. The overall performance indicates that Hadamard Ranked patterns perform better during acquisition and quantification of lifetime-based quantities.
