Electric field assisted dissolution of nano-composite coatings: an spectroscopic ellipsometric study

Abstract

Application of DC voltage and moderate temperature induces dissolution of metal nanoparticles in nano-composite materials. In this work spectroscopic ellipsometry is used to monitor changes in multilayered nano-composite coatings as the dissolution process takes place.
