Improved Optical Resistance of Broadband Chirped Mirrors

Abstract

Chirped mirrors covering 200 nm bandwidth were deposited for laser-induced damage threshold (LIDT) testing. Coating designs were optimized to achieve better LIDT performance. After LIDT testing morphology of damage sites was analyzed.
