Effect of an Optical Coating on In-Band and Out-of-Band Transmittance Wavefront Error Measurements

Abstract

The Transmitted Wavefront Error (TWE) of an optical filter can be significantly different at the in-band and out-of-band wavelengths. TWE measurements and a method of predicting the inband TWE of an optical filter are presented.
