Anizotropic Optical Coatings for Polarization Control in High-power Lasers

Abstract

The novel approach of high band-gap birefringent coatings was proposed and investigated. Zero-order retarders with low optical losses and the potential to withstand high laser fluences at 355 and 266 nm wavelengths were produced.
