Microfiber Fabry-Perot Interferometer for Determining Temperature with Ultra-high Sensitivity

Abstract

A miniature Fabry-Perot temperature probe was proposed based on a microfiber tip and a single mode fiber. The temperature sensitivity was experimentally demonstrated to be 10.37 nm/℃ in the range of 43-50 ℃.
