Spectrally Slicing Coherent Optical Spectrum Analyzer for Measuring Complex Field Waveforms of Optical QAM Signals

Abstract

We propose spectrally slicing scheme without any bandwidth limitation for measuring complex field waveforms of optical QAM signals. With our scheme, complex filed waveforms of 12.5-Gbaud 16QAM signals are measured even with 300-MHz bandwidth.
