Channel Dynamics in Few-Mode Fiber Transmission Under Mechanical Vibrations

Abstract

We experimentally investigate the coupling dynamics of a three-mode fiber recirculating transmission link under the influence of controlled mechanical vibrations. The dynamics are found to be more prominent compared to similar measurements in single-mode fiber.
