Abstract

We apply symbol-rate and entropy optimization to over-100-GBaud PS-36QAM signal generation. It enables 800-Gbps/λ signal transmission over 2400 km in 125GHz-spaced WDM system by maximization of SNR margin from the required SNR at FEC limit.
