All-Optical Spectral Magnification of WDM Signals after 50 km of Dispersion Un-Compensated Transmission

Abstract

We successfully demonstrate an optical time lens system operating on data signals that are not dispersion compensated after fiber transmission. We demonstrate 4x spectral magnification after 50 km of dispersion un-compensated transmission, with BER <1E-9.
