Impact of Modulation Format on Dynamic Channel Crosstalk Behavior in Multi-Core Fibers

Abstract

We present a study on the relation between the spectral occupation of crosstalk-generating signals and the resulting dynamic crosstalk behavior. We show performance fluctuations induced by varying crosstalk power when transmitting carrier supported modulation formats.
