Abstract

By creating polarization orthogonality between the odd and even channels, crosstalk-free OWC link is realized with spectral overlap. This technique can tolerate the wavelength misalignment between AWGRs and lasers, which relaxes the design of high port-count AWGRs and wavelength stable lasers.
