Experimental Demonstration of mmWave Multi-beam Forming by SiN Photonic Integrated Circuits for Elastic RF- Optical Networking

Abstract

We present a two-beam 24-GHz mmWave spatial-division multiplexing demonstration using multi-layer SiN photonic integrated circuits for elastic RF-Optical 5G networking. The total system throughput can reach 8-Gbps over 1 GHz bandwidth with 16-QAM signals.
