Noise Mitigation of Random Data Signals Through Linear Temporal Sampling Based on the Talbot Effect

Abstract

Noiseless passive amplification of non-repetitive waveforms, e.g., non-return-to-zero data signals, is achieved up to a factor of 28.5 through a linear Talbot-based lossless temporal sampling process, enabling recovery of signals entirely buried under noise.
