Abstract

Reach-extended C-band transmission of real-time 53.125Gbps PAM-4 data over 40km SSMF is enabled using a dispersion compensating photonic-integrated programmable lattice filter. Transmission of 100GHz spaced channels error-free below the FEC threshold is demonstrated.
