Simultaneous Distributed Temperature and Vibration Measurement with UWFBG based Coherent OTDR

Abstract

An UWFBG based coherent OTDR is proposed to realize distributed temperature and vibration sensing simultaneously. Ultra-high temperature accuracy of 0.05K and ultra-high response frequency of up to 100kHz is demonstrated.
