Single-Sideband Thin Film Lithium Niobate (TFLN™) Electro-optic Modulators for RF over Fiber

Abstract

A high speed thin film lithium niobate modulator device is integrated with a Bragg grating for in situ sideband filtering. The configuration has potential for high efficiency linear intensity modulation at bandwidths exceeding 70 GHz.
