Semiconductor laser noise in an Interferometer system

Abstract

Interference often occurs in optical systems, for example, in optical fiber communication systems or in optical fiber sensors. For such applications a detailed knowledge of noise performance Is required. We therefore measured the noise of semiconductor laser light passing a Michelson interferometer.
