Atypical Trapping of Cavity Solitons in Kerr Resonators Driven with Optical Pulses

Abstract

We have investigated the behaviour of cavity solitons in resonators driven with optical pulses. We find that the solitons are attracted to particular values of the driving field rather than points of zero gradient.
