Abstract

Intensity-dependent four-photon absorption coefficients of Gallium-Phosphide (GaP) and Zink-Telluride (ZnTe) have been measured by the z-scan method at 1.75 μm pump wavelength. Anisotropy in the effective four-photon absorption has been shown in GaP.
