Nonlinear Optical Frequency Conversion Controlled by the Linear Electro-optic Effect

Abstract

By introducing an external electric field in a KH2PO4 crystal, we demonstrated a frequency conversion scheme with wide prospect of application, which can drastically reduce the sensitivity of the phase-matching condition on angle and temperature.
