General Depth-resolved Attenuation Estimation method in Optical Coherence Tomography

Abstract

We propose a general depth-resolved attenuation calculation algorithm to rectify under- and over-estimation biases of existing algorithms. The method affords consistently improved accuracy for practical tissues over the entire effective imaging depth.
