The Effects of Blood Flow Velocity and Blood Volume on Acousto-Optic Signals

Abstract

Acousto optics signals depend linearly on the velocity of flow and the volume density of scattering particles. Such linear dependence has different slopes for different densities, allowing for the separate assessment of flow and density.
