Implementation of optical feedback modulation in photonic reservoir computing

Abstract

We experimentally investigate photonic reservoir computing using a single semiconductor laser with time-delayed feedback modulation. We perform the time-series prediction task and achieve better results using phase modulation than those using intensity modulation.
