Abstract

The current study demonstrates the potential application of gold nanorods (GNRs) as theranostic agents for photoacoustic microscopy (PAM) and optical coherence tomography (OCT) imaging enhancement and photodynamic therapy (PDT) of retinal neovascularization (RNV) in rabbits in vivo.
