Actively mode-locked Yb-doped fiber laser via pump modulation

Abstract

An active mode-locked Yb-doped fiber laser via pump modulation is demonstrated. The mode-locked all-normal-dispersion fiber laser operates in dissipative soliton regime without any spectral filter.
