Spatiotemporal Characterization of Ultrashort Pulses from the near- to mid-IR

Abstract

We use 2D spectral interferometry to characterize the full spatiotemporal profile of laser pulses. An intense pump imprints upon a weak broadband visible probe its spatial and temporal profile, which can be recovered using silicon based detectors.
