Fiber Cantilever Based Acoustic Sensor

Abstract

A low-cost high sensitivity SMF micro tip in cantilever configuration based acoustic sensor is demonstrated. For cantilever length of 11.2 mm, sensor shows a linear response in frequency range of 100 – 600 Hz.
