Broadband pulse generation from a low-power, carbon-nanotube mode-locked fiber laser

Abstract

Using a simple dispersion-managed ring cavity, 48-nm wide pulses are generated at a low intra-cavity pulse energy of 23 picojoules under small normal dispersion, facilitated by a polarization spectral filtering mechanism.
