Aberrated Soliton Forming at Femtosecond Pulse Propagation in Cubic Nonlinear Medium with Inhomogeneous Refraction Index

Abstract

We demonstrate a possibility of the formation of a new soliton type, named as chirped or aberrated soliton. Such solitons arise at optical pulse propagation in a nonlinear layered structure situated in a cubic nonlinear medium.
