Abstract

This work presents the optical generation and analysis of non-diffracting beams via holographic techniques. The realization of non-diffracting beams was made in a computational holography algorithms, where CGHs of the non-diffracting beams (Bessel, Airy, Mathieu and Frozen Waves) were obtained computationally. The optical generation of this special waves were obtained via spatial light modulators systems (Lcos and photorefractive materials); and, their analysis by digital holography. The experimental results are in agreement with the theoretically predicted presenting excellent prospects for implementation of these techniques for static and dynamic systems at applications in optics and photonics.
