Design and construction of a broadband spectrum femtosecond laser

Abstract

A femtosecond laser oscillator was designed and constructed to compensate astigmatism and second order dispersion inside the cavity. Pulse time width around 14 fem-toseconds was measured using Two-Photon Absorption (TPA) interferometric autocorrelation.
