All-fiber graphene electro-optical modulator with PMMA superstrate layer

Abstract

We present a method to optimize a graphene electro-optical modulator built onto a side-polished fiber with the polymer superstrate layer. The thickness control of PMMA cladding can improve its modulation depth with reduced dielectric thickness.
