Kerr Shutter for the Generation of Optically Synchronized Pump-Signal OPCPA Pairs

Abstract

We propose a new method for optically synchronizing pump-signal OPCPA pairs. Based on the Kerr effect and due to its simplicity, this technique could serve as a solution to the expensive and complicated existing methods.
