Abstract

Two different pumping of Zn1-xMnxSe:Cr2+,Fe2+ (x = 0.3) crystal at ~1.7 μm at ~ns and for the first time at ~ms ranges followed by the Cr2+→Fe2+ ions energy transfer resulting in the ~4.4 m laser radiation are reported.
