Experimental and Theoretical Analysis of Picosecond Mid-infrared Optical Parametric Amplifier

Abstract

A high energy ps mid-IR OPA based on KTA crystal was demonstrated. The maximum output energy of 1.5 mJ at 3.5 μm is achieved with a peak power of ~83.3MW.
