Tm:KY(WO4)2 Planar Waveguide Laser Q-switched by Single-Walled Carbon Nanotubes

Abstract

A 5 at.% Tm:KYaGdbLuc(WO4)2/KY(WO4)2 planar waveguide laser passively Q-switched by SWCNTs generated 45 mW at 1835.4 nm with a slope efficiency of 22.5%. The 83-ns-long pulses have an energy of 33 nJ at 1.39 MHz.
