500 W level high power fiber MOPA laser with switchable output modes

Abstract

We report a high power transverse-mode-switchable fiber laser in a master oscillator power amplifier (MOPA) configuration. Switchable LP01 and LP11 modes with output power of 500 W level were obtained based on active mode control.
